According to Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin played a key role in spreading untruths about the Gorgas on this season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

A forthcoming episode of the “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast has the 55-year-old co-founder of The Drink Soirée Margaret discussing the drama.

The reality star says, “I wish Teresa [Giudice] would have stopped it,” adding that she is unsure if Giudice, 50, is responsible for the rumours about her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and brother Joe Gorga. “I’m not sure,”

Josephs, however, claims that Aydin, 45, is accountable for spreading false rumours about the couple throughout the Garden State. She tells us, “I know Jennifer sure as hell did.

Aydin allegedly asserted at least once, as seen in the Season 13 trailer for “RHONJ,” that Melissa, 43, had cheated on Joe, 47, with Danielle Cabral, a newcomer to the show.

Aydin claims, “He saw Melissa in the backseat and she was making out with another person.”

Giudice and Gorgas had a falling out in August 2022, which led Joe and Melissa to decide last-minutely not to go to Giudice’s wedding to Luis “Louis” Ruelas. After a violent brawl broke out while Bravo’s Season 13 finale was being filmed, they decided to forgo the ceremony.

After Giudice brought up accusations that Melissa had cheated on Joe with longtime friend Nick Barrotta, things got heated. Gorgas, who have three children together and have been married since 2004, reportedly “laughed off” allegations despite the disagreements.

After that, Melissa said on her “On Display” podcast, “Sometimes when things are too toxic and you try over and over and over again and it just keeps coming back to the same thing, even if it’s family, you have to let it go.”

In contrast to Aydin, Josephs has attempted in the past to mediate a settlement between Giudice and the Gorgas.

The author of “Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget” says, “I don’t know if [Aydin] believes that she can’t be polite to [the Gorgas] since she’s friends with Teresa.

But I believe Teresa would value Jennifer’s efforts to reunite them over my own efforts to keep them apart.

After a particularly bitter feud with Giudice the season before, Josephs made up with her while filming Season 13 and even attended her extravagant wedding. She still has a close relationship with Gorgas, but she is unsure of her ability to help the split parties come together again in the future.

She compares it to bringing about peace in the Middle East. “I’m not sure,” It wasn’t simple, according to Josephs, to mend ties with Giudice as the “RHONJ” OG’s connection to the Gorgas broke down.

“You seek the reality? It was painful. It made me feel bad. I was heartbroken because I knew Melissa was suffering. It was upsetting and depressing,” she says. “I am aware that Joe was grieving as the season progressed. And I recall Teresa being depressed at the time.

Josephs explains, “I tried infinite times to try and make repairs [between] them, and it was really difficult to witness with family… But the seas are deep and it has been a while.

Season 13 of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” debuts on Bravo on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 9 p.m. ET.
