The showrunner teased that Joe will actually be different this time in Netflix You season 4 part 1, which was released on the streaming giant on February 9, 2023.

The season four lead for Joe Goldberg, who plays Prof. Moore in the psychological crime thriller You, is Penn Badgley. In 2018, the drama debuted on the site.

In the show, Joe, who has a dangerously endearing personality and will go to exceptionally risky lengths to connect with others, is followed.

The show’s creator, Gamble, explains why Joe has stopped killing in You season 4 in an interview released by Netflix.

Joe left for Europe under a new name at the end of season 3 in order to start over and forge a brighter future for himself.

Joe, now going by the name Prof. Moore, decided to teach American Literature in London, which is a suitable career for the intelligent menace.

“Finally, he’s in a position that befits his level of understanding of the books he talks about all the time. He’s genuinely good at it and it’s a pleasure for him to do it” the showrunner explained.

“I can say this without spoiling too much: Even when his life is completely falling apart, he still does enjoy teaching class. It’s fun to put someone who knows literary tropes into one of the tropiest stories possible, and it fits nicely with the idea that he’s genuinely going to be different now” he added.
