At the end of the ninth episode of the Outer Banks’ third season, a dedication card with the words ‘In loving memory of Alexander Jennings’ was seen. Alexander Jennings was a stunt performer who worked as a stand-in actor or body double for Chase Stokes, the Outer Banks Pogues leader.
Alexander Jennings, however, died on July 15, 2022, at the age of 22, as a result of injuries sustained in a double hit and run accident. This incident occurred near Charleston, South Carolina, where the show was being shot.
Chase Stokes‘ agent, Kimmie Stewart Casting, confirmed his death and paid a heartfelt tribute. According to the statement, Stokes relocated from New York to Charleston to serve as Chase Stokes’ stunt double. Alexander Jennings’ untimely death shocked and devastated his family and friends. According to the statement, Jennings was an amazing human being with an infectious smile who will be greatly missed.
Chase Stokes, an actor, also paid tribute to Alexander Jennings on social media. In his story, the actor stated that he is still processing Jennings’ death and does not understand why such things occur. Stokes went on to say how enthusiastic Jennings was about his music, even though his life was just getting started.
