The “Umbrella” chart-topper appeared to give away her second pregnancy with A$AP Rocky before officially announcing it during her performance at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023. She did this by wearing some telltale bling.

The musician and beauty entrepreneur, 34, complemented her Alaa aviator jacket and crocodile jacquard knit skirt with a handmade “Mom” ring from celebrity-favourite Beverly Hills jeweller XIV Karats during a press briefing on February 9 ahead of the big game.

The nameplate-style ring, which is embellished with twenty-four diamonds and is made of (what else?) 14-karat yellow gold, was worn by Rihanna on her left index finger during the press conference.

Social media users quickly pointed out that Rocky, who flaunted a matching “Dad” ring on Instagram in December, is owned by that person.

“There’s something that just happens when you become a mother; you suddenly feel like you can take on the world and do anything. The Super Bowl is one of the largest stages in the world, Rihanna declared at a press conference last week.

As unsettling as it was for me to be on stage for the first time in seven years, there was something thrilling about the task. And I must carry out this task this year. My son has to see it because it’s crucial for representation.

In May 2022, Rihanna and Rocky welcomed their first child, a boy whose name has not yet been disclosed.

The “Diamonds” singer transformed maternity fashion during her first pregnancy by going out in a succession of bold, bump-baring outfits from designers like Chanel, Dior, and Coperni.

Rihanna chose a hot layered costume for her Super Bowl performance that included a jumpsuit and bustier by Loewe, Messika jewelry, MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon Cross Low Sneakers ($360), and two unique red leather coats from Alaa.
