Slater, 50, and Anderson, 55, first crossed paths in 1992 on the Baywatch set where he appeared in 23 episodes as Jimmy Slade, according to Page Six. In the Slater documentary, she stated, “He was genuinely my big love.” He was extremely wonderful to me and such a sweetheart.

She recalled, “I was going to go see Kelly Slater in Florida and meet his family at the time. “I called him on the phone for the first time to inform him I was married. What?! That was dreadful, he exclaims.

She continued by discussing their unusual romance. We were dating when he had a number of girlfriends and boyfriends of his own, so it was not just me. You could not wrap your hands around him, she said. However, nobody is owned by you. You just need to let people be who they are because nobody owns anyone. On occasion, it is preferable to be alone.
