Rita Ora shows her sparkling emerald and gold wedding ring
On Wednesday, the 32-year-old singer made her emerald and gold wedding band public for the first time while performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Ora made her marriage to producer Taika Waititi, 47, public on Jan. 27 by declaring she was “off the market.”
“I haven’t actually shown anyone my ring, it’s my first time showing my ring and because I love you and I feel like you’re a part of our relationship…Look here it is,” Ora said when host Jimmy Fallon congratulated her on the nuptials.
The performer then lifted up her left palm to display the rock while donning a silver metallic attire for the occasion. Fallon, 48, exclaimed, “Ooh la la, that’s wonderful.”
Ora continued by playfully admitting that she “may have” assisted her husband in selecting the ring.
“You know what you want and I felt like I really knew I wanted to be with this person and I just wanted it to feel really right,” she said. “So I may have taken him to the shop and pointed out exactly what ring I wanted.”
Ora made an appearance on the programme to promote her new single, “You Only Love Me,” and she subsequently changed into a pink dress with a veil inspired by a bridal gown to perform the song.
The singer also wore a vintage wedding gown and veil for the song’s music video, which had a strapless silhouette, a pleated bodice, and—most notably—an attached veil that resembled a cocoon.
