At the 2023 Producers Guild of America Awards on Saturday night, HBO’s comedy-drama anthology series The White Lotus season 2 took home the Norman Felton Award for Best Producer of Episodic Television.

Up to this point, Mike White’s The White Lotus second season has won Golden Globe Awards for Best Limited or Anthology Series and Best Supporting Actress for Jennifer Coolidge.

On July 11, 2021, The White Lotus had its initial release. HBO renewed the show as an anthology series and for a second season despite it only being intended as a six-part limited series due to its popularity.

The start of Season 2 was on October 30, 2022. Furthermore, a third season of the show was ordered in November 2022.

The guild’s expanded Live Entertainment, Variety, Sketch, Standup & Talk Television category award went to Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, another HBO programme.

For the eighth consecutive year, the show has been nominated.

The top film and television producers of 2022 were honoured at the 34th Producers Guild of America Awards, which took place on February 25, 2023, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
