Selena Gomez‘s most recent social media shout-out appears to have put an end to rumours of a dispute between her and Bella Hadid. Published a number of videos and images to her Instagram Story and TikTok on February 21, 2023, honouring a fellow ex-girlfriend of The Weeknd, according to E! News.

The Hand to Myself singer lip-synced to a popular audio clip of the 26-year-old model saying, “Well my name… my name is Bella Hadid.” I wish I was as lovely as Bella Hadid, she added to the screen’s message about the model. The following video featured Gomez without a filter, saying, “Instead, here is me. By mistake, I overlaminate my brows.

My name is Selena Gomez,” she added in a sultry tone. “See, it doesn’t even sound sexy.” She then posted a modelling shot of Hadid, 26, from 2022 photo shoot with Vogue captioned, “#girlcrush.

After being photographed kissing Abel Tesfaye, better known by his stage as The Weeknd, with whom Bella broke up a few months earlier after dating for more than a year, Hadid unfollowed the singer of the song “Good For You.”

Gomez and Hadid started unfollowing, refollowing, and unfollowing one other on Instagram in 2019, which led to rumours that the pair was feuding. Gomez still does not follow Hadid on social media, but the actress does so through People Magazine, along with her sister, Gigi Hadid.

From April 2015 to November 2016, Tesfaye was dating Hadid. He later started dating Gomez in January 2017.
