Selena Gomez is quitting social media, at least temporarily.

The 30-year-old former Disney Channel star has been active online lately, posting seductive pictures, weighing in on the online controversy, and commenting on a Hailey Bieber video that recently surfaced.

She did, however, make it known that due to the “silly” dispute with the founder of Rhode Skin, she would be ending the relationship.

“I’m very happy, I’m so blessed. I have the best friends and the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn’t be happier,” Gomez stated in a TikTok live on Thursday afternoon.

“I’m good, I love the way I am, I don’t care,” the “Spring Breakers” actress went on.

“And yeah, I’m gonna be taking a second from social media ’cause this is a little silly and I’m 30. I’m too old for this.”

Gomez claimed she was only taking a brief vacation after earlier that day passing Kylie Jenner as the most followed female on Instagram.

“I love you guys so much and I will see you guys sooner than later. I just have to take a break from everything,” the “Same Old Love” singer concluded.

Throughout the past ten years, Gomez has taken repeated sabbaticals from social media, blaming her mental health.

Footage that appeared to show Bieber, 26, criticizing the “All Too Well” chart-topper reappeared on TikTok a few hours after she had supported her friend Taylor Swift, 33.
