After breaking his finger earlier this month, the Blink-182 drummer disclosed this week that he will undergo surgery. The 47-year-old celebrity gave fans a peek at his recovery, which includes physical therapy and a finger brace.

“Surgery tomorrow”, he posted on Instagram on Monday night (27.02.23).

With a string of prayer hands and heart emojis, his wife Kourtney Kardashian responded to the tweet.

He suffered the finger injury earlier this month while practising with his band for the impending reunion tour of the rock band “All The Little Things.”

He previously tweeted on February 8: “I was playing the drums at rehearsals yesterday and I smashed my finger so hard I dislocated it and tore the ligaments.”

No shows have been postponed or cancelled as a result of the injury, and fans are optimistic that the surgery won’t affect Blink-182’s first tour since 2014 with Tom DeLonge on board, joining Travis and Mark Hoppus.

Tom disclosed before the end of last year that the band had been hard at work on “the best album” they had ever created.

He teased on Instagram: “I’m personally tripping and so proud of what we have created TOGETHER. As one unified force of fun, eternal youth, and most of all- close friends.”

The band is preparing for their largest tour to date, which will include performances in the UK, Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America for the first time.

The massive tour will get underway in March and go through February 2024.
