Aishwarya Rai mentioned her 1999 film Aa Ab Laut Chalen in an old interview, saying that she and Akshaye Khanna “had a lot at stake” together. Aishwarya, who won the title of Miss World in 1994, claimed that “a portion of the industry and the media had written her off” when asked why she made the statement.

Aishwarya had also spoken out about what was said about her in the media – from being labeled ‘a cold fish, a non-actress’ to being informed she was ‘in a dreadful shape’. Given that she was “receiving at least two offers every day,” Aishwarya claimed that she was “hassle-free” despite what had been stated about her.

“The media claims that I am in poor health. My movies aren’t performing well, and I’m supposed to be a chilly fish and non-actor. Because I feel hassle-free, (I look so hassle-free), thank you. Every day, I receive at least two offers. But I’m waiting; I prefer to think things through before doing “In 1999, Aishwarya spoke to Filmfare.
