Andy Cohen became irate with “a–hole” Larsa Pippen over a personal comment during the Season 5 reunion of “Real Housewives of Miami.”

The Bravo boss admitted that he saw red when Pippen “seemed to be weaponizing” that co-star Dr. Nicole Martin’s child was “born out of wedlock,” noting that he does not like to “editorialize” while moderating the tense gatherings.

Cohen elaborated on Monday on Radio Andy Andy, “Like, she was saying, ‘I could be calling out that your son was born out of wedlock.'” Now, you are, in essence, saying, “I could be using something as a weapon.”

The media personality, who was a single man at the time and used a surrogate to have son Benjamin, who is now 4, and daughter Lucy, who is 11 months old, acknowledged that there was “a little bit of semantics” going on during the heated exchange between the OnlyFans model, who is 48, and the anesthesiologist, who is 37.

“Larsa said, “I didn’t — I just said he was born out of wedlock,” and Nicole kept saying, “You called my son a bastard.”

That’s when, admittedly “heated” Cohen intervened to inform Pippen that “that was an a–hole thing to say” was his opinion.

He stated to his listeners, “It will come as no surprise to anyone why I got so heated.” I’m a single parent of two kids, so there could be no one else; No other parent exists.

He continued, “I jumped in there because I got super sensitive to the idea of that being weaponized.”

Cohen, 54, publicly apologised to Pippen for snapping at her shortly after the incident, but in his role as executive producer, he kept the details of the incident to a minimum until after the episode aired.

In a January “RHOM” reunion set Instagram Story video, the TV host teased, “We’re still shooting, and I didn’t have ‘screaming at Larsa’ on my bingo card today.”

Quickly joining in, Pippen bluntly inquired of her supervisor as to whether he was “going to apologize?”

He responded, “I’m sorry, Larsa,” before telling his followers that he doesn’t like “screaming at women.”

Larsa and Scottie Pippen, her ex-husband, have four children together: Justin, 18, Scotty Jr., Preston, 22, and Sophia, 14, are Justin’s sons.

Regarding Martin, she and her fiancé Anthony Lopez have a 2-year-old son named Greyson.
