Cameron Diaz recently showed up to express her support for Drew Barrymore after the TV programme host revealed her “triumphant” fight with alcoholism.

The host and performer opened up in a honest interview with the Los Angeles Times about the progression of her addiction. The “tough trip” was extensively discussed in the interview in question. Barrymore acknowledges that her problems started after her 2016 divorce from Will Kopelman.

For those who are unaware, Diaz and Barrymore first grew close when she was only 14 and employed at a coffee shop.

Even Diaz came forward after Barrymore’s interview to say that the experience had been “very tough to watch,” but that she had “total faith” in her capacity to succeed. “But I knew that if we all persevered with her and provided her the support she needed, she would find her way,” she was quoted as saying. “I have great faith in her.”

She said, “You can not even imagine how difficult it was for her to be her as a youngster, and then she shot out the other end with the power to save herself.

After over a decade of working together, Barry Michels, a well-known celebrity psychologist, pulled the rug out from under Drew Barrymore and refused to work with her. This was the turning point.
