Chris Pine discusses his mother Gwynne Gilford’s best job advice, which he has ever received. The topic of discussion came up at a screening for his next movie, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

This Friday, the event was held at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, as part of the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival. Pine spoke up in the midst of the incident to provide the best piece of advice he would ever heard from his mother, Gwynne Gilford.

“There are no asterisks on the bottom of the screens,” he was reported as saying by People magazine. So, nobody will notice how difficult the day was, whether it was pouring or not, or whether you were ill. For those who may not know, Pine’s whole family has spent time in the entertainment industry.

While his mother is well-known for her role in the 1987 film Masters of the Universe, Robert Pine, his father, is best known for his work on the television programme CHiPs in the 1970s and 1980s.

According to Paramount, the planned fantasy role-playing game movie is about “A charming thief and a band of unusual adventurers conduct an epic heist to rescue a lost relic, but things go horribly awry when they come afoul of the wrong people.”
