Farhan Akhtar, the filmmaker-actor, uploaded a photo of himself as he began investigating sites in Rajasthan for his upcoming film Jee Le Zaraa.

Farhan posted a snapshot of himself standing in the desert on Instagram on Thursday. The photograph, taken from a distance, showed Farhan looking away with his back to the camera.

Farhan was dressed in a blazer, shorts, and boots in the photo. Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt will play the key roles in Jee Le Zaraa.

Farhan captioned his latest Instagram post, “Searching for gold.”

In addition, he used the hashtags location scout, Jee Le Zaraa, and Rajasthan. “Image @ozajay,” Farhan added.

Alia Bhatt commented, “Can’t waittttt (heart hands emoji).”

Ritesh Sidhwani said, “And he is back on the director’s chair (hands rais ed emoji).”

Several followers expressed their delight in the comments section.

“Finally, I can’t wait for this film,” one user wrote. “So excited,” said one commenter.

“Please sign Hrithik Roshan as PeeCee’s pair,” one Instagram user requested.

“Yeah!!! “This is going to be epic,” another admirer predicted. Many also used the red heart and fire emojis.

Farhan has published a motion poster for the film on Instagram in 2021. He wrote, “Did someone say road trip? Thrilled to announce my next film as director and what better day than 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai to do it. #JeeLeZaraa with @priyankachopra @katrinakaif @aliaabhatt will commence filming in 2022 and I cannot wait to get this show on the road.”

On Instagram, Priyanka had posted a photo of herself, Alia, and Katrina Kaif. “Let’s rewind, to me musing about wanting to do another Hindi movie ASAP, on an unusually rainy night in Mumbai in Nov 2019. But it had to be the right one – different, cool, never been done before… I thought.”

She added, “The idea grew into a movie helmed by an all-female cast. There are not enough Hindi movies that are female multi-starrers. This led to an impulsive phone call… to my 2 real friends about this idea that involved 3 on-screen girlfriends. A celebration of friendship we called it!!”

Farhan’s directorial debut after more than a decade is Jee Le Zaraa.

The last film he directed was Don 2 for Shah Rukh Khan. His most recent film was written by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Farhan. Reema, Zoya, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan are the producers.
