John Wick actor Keanu Reeves payed respect togate co-star Lance Reddick, a day after his demise on Friday, March, 17, at his home in Studio City, California.

We are terribly grieved and heartbroken at the passing of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick, Keanu Reeves and Chad Stahelski of John Wick wrote in a joint statement.

They further noted, “He was a pleasure to deal with and the epitome of professionalism. His wife Stephanie, his children, family, and friends are in our thoughts and prayers. We honor his memory by dedicating the movie to him. He will be sorely missed.”

Wendell Pierce of The Wire also expressed his emotions on twitter, writing, “a guy of enormous power and grace. He was equally skilled as a musician as an actor. the pinnacle of elegance.”

He said, “A sudden, unforeseen, sharply painful loss for our family of artists. Unfathomable suffering for his own family and close friends. Best wishes, my friend. Here, you left your mark. RIP.”
