Ahn Gil Ho, the director of the well-liked Korean sitcom The Glory on Netflix, was accused with bullying on March 10. The accuser spoke with the news source Dailian and provided additional details:

“I found out that he was (the director of the drama) through a group chat room with my former classmates from the Philippines. I don’t want to make an issue out of the fact that (Ahn Gil Ho) is doing well for himself. However, I can’t forgive him for having the audacity to direct a drama dealing with school bullying like The Glory.”

According to the alleged victim, the director bullied them in middle school in 1996, when he was still a senior in high school. The bullying happened in a small Philippine school.

They also disclosed that Ahn Gil Ho had been dating the middle schooler, and that after she had taunted the victim and her friends, he had taken them to them and assaulted them.

The director hasn’t yet addressed the accusations.
