In advance of the Oscars, Priyanka Chopra released a ton of images of her outfit for the South Asian Excellence event. She hosted the event alongside her husband, actor Nick Jonas, and friend Mindy Kaling while sporting a feathery white outfit.
In an interview with ET at the event, Priyanka said, “I’m really thankful that we’ve had the ability to not just return, but to do it in such a great capacity and be hosted by Paramount Pictures. I’m very passionate about South Asian representation in films. This really is iconic. And to be able to look around me and see my peers and colleagues who have been working hard and hustling for years have a moment that is exclusively theirs, makes me feel like,cry.

She remarked on Mindy, “I mean, we call each other when horrible things happen and talk largely about those things. And I’ve seen that while we may meet at Holi or Diwali parties or other social gatherings, we truly call each other when things go dicey. We then say, “I don’t feel comfortable about this. She supports me as I go. I’m not feeling comfortable about it, she says. It’s wonderful to know that girls support one another. Especially having that with someone who is from the same area as me. It’s good to have that even though our cultural experiences are extremely different.”

She claimed that Malti, their daughter, was dozing off at home. “She is dozing. God is good, “stated Priyanka. “Can you imagine? No, tonight’s daddy and mommy’s night out.”

Priyanka and Nick were recently photographed visiting the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week. She donned a vivid pink dress, and Nick was dressed in a brown suit.

This year’s Oscars have nominated the Telugu movie RRR for Best Original Song. All That Breathes and Elephant Whisperers are also up for Best Documentary and Best Documentary Short. One of the presenters at the ceremony is Deepika Padukone.
