Sar e Rah was a breath of fresh air for the television audience on a screen cluttered with the same old housewife stories. In addition to empowering and uplifting messages, various stories exposed the negative aspects of society at various levels.

All of the actors—Saba Qamar, Muneeb Butt, Saboor Aly, Hareem Farooq, and Sunita Marshall—did their parts justice, and each story worked.

He also revealed why Sarang was presented as a boy as many intersex individuals in our country are seen donning a female presentation. To this, he said that there is always negativity that society attached to such presentation which made him decide to present himself as a boy. He also clarified that people talking about surgeries and whatnot on the internet while Sarang was naturally intersex and the focus of the story was increasing tolerance and not indulging in further medical options.

In light of the fact that many intersex people in our nation are seen wearing a feminine presentation, he also explained why Sarang was presented as a boy. In response, he claimed that the stigma society traditionally associated with such presentations was what led him to choose to portray himself as a boy. He also noted that Sarang was naturally intersex and the focus of the tale was developing tolerance rather than indulging in more medical alternatives, despite individuals discussing surgery and other procedures online.
