Penn Badgley, who plays you on the sitcom, spoke candidly about Jenna Ortega’s potential for a comeback.

According to Badgley, the actor is unlikely to reprise her role given Wednesday’s enormous popularity.

He added, “Oh man… I mean the truth is they [Netflix] would have to pay up. She’s got that Wednesday money now.”

“You got to talk to Netflix.”

The 36-year-old still desired to see Ortega return to the program, though.

He added, “That would be great obviously, that would be so amazing. I don’t know that it’s going to happen. We’ll see.”

The actor was previously mentioned as being in discussions to return to the program by showrunner Sera Gamble. Her schedule, however, conflicted with the filming of The Addams Family spin-off.

She told a local magazine, “We wanted to bring Ellie back and we heard, ‘Oh, Jenna is doing some show.’
