Prince William has followed the lead of his wife, Kate Middleton, during their time in France as he extended his congratulations to the Wales Rugby team after witnessing their victory over Fiji at the stadium.

Earlier, Kate Middleton radiated with joy while attending the match between England and Argentina on a Saturday.

After England’s triumph, the Princess of Wales visited the team in their locker room, where she was photographed congratulating the players.

In a gesture mirroring Kate’s, Prince William also joined in the celebrations as Wales emerged victorious against Fiji. Subsequently, he paid a visit to the Wales players to convey his congratulations.

Sharing photographs with the players on Twitter, Prince William tweeted, “Congratulations on a winning start @WelshRugbyUnion! #RWC2023.”

Prince William and Kate arrived in France to show their support for the home nations in their capacities as royal patrons of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) and Rugby Football Union, respectively.
