Social media users are claiming that the famous Indian YouTuber Dhruv Rathee and his spouse are secretly working for Pakistan.

Dhruv was from Haryana and married Juli Lbr-Rathee after studying mechanical engineering in Germany. They make vlogs about their trips together. Rathee joined YouTube in 2013 and now has over 19 million subscribers.

Mr. Rathee’s YouTube channel has become well-known due to its critiques of government and societal issues.

Everything began with a widely shared post asserting that Rathee’s real name is ‘Badruddin Rashid Lahori’ and his wife, Julie, is actually a Pakistani national called ‘Zulaikha’.

Rathee has over 18 million subscribers and a reputation for making videos criticizing the government, Rathee has replied to the accusations.

Indian YouTuber Rathee said, “They have no answer to the videos I made so they’re spreading these fake claims. And how desperate do you have to be to drag my wife’s family into this? You can also see the disgusting moral standard of these IT Cell employees.”
