Pakistani actor Meera underwent a “major surgery” at a private hospital in Dubai on Wednesday, her husband Captain Naveed confirmed.

Meera is currently recuperating and is expected to stay in the hospital for a few more days. “It was a critical operation, but the surgery was successful, and Meera is now in the recovery room,” he stated.

The specific details of Meera’s surgery remain undisclosed, but earlier reports indicated she had been experiencing abdominal pain and skin irritation. As her condition get worse, she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors recommended surgery.

In a last video, Meera had told her fans that there was nothing to worry about and asked them to pray for her. “I am here for some check-ups and everything is normal. I just need your blessings and your prayer,” she had said.
