Veteran actor Khaled Anam has publicly mourned the tragic deaths of a father and daughter in the Karsaz car accident, expressing his sorrow through poignant poetry. The accident occurred on August 19 when Natasha Danish Iqbal, daughter-in-law of the prominent Gul Ahmed family, collided with several vehicles, resulting in the fatalities and injuries.

Anam took to the microblogging platform X to voice his distress over the handling of the case. He criticized those defending Natasha Danish and blamed the victims. He remarked, “who are arguing that the victims were at fault for not wearing helmets.” His heartfelt poetry and comments reflect his deep disapproval of the elite’s attempts to evade accountability.

New CCTV footage from the accident showed Natasha Danish initially hitting a white car before crashing into multiple vehicles. To flee the scene, she oversped and collided with a motorcycle, killing the father and daughter.

The Bahadurabad police registered a case on behalf of the deceased’s brother. Natasha Danish was recently placed on a 14-day judicial remand. Despite her lawyer’s claims of mental instability, she was declared “mentally fit” by the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) Department of Psychiatry. The case remains pending in court.
