As the UAE marks Emirati Women’s Day, celebrating the contributions of women to the nation’s progress, the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards has announced that Rekha, widely celebrated as the ‘Queen of Indian Cinema,’ will make her highly anticipated return to the stage this year.

The IIFA Awards will take place on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi from September 27 to 29, under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence.
