Pakistani actress and model Hania Aamir has strongly refuted claims linking her to a viral video circulating on social media, which she asserts is a deepfake generated by artificial intelligence (AI). The video, which shows a woman resembling Aamir in revealing attire and provocative poses, was initially shared by various social media pages and later featured on an entertainment site that erroneously identified her as the person in the clip.

In a response posted on her Instagram stories, Aamir clarified, “The bold video making rounds is fake and generated using AI.” She expressed frustration over the media’s role in spreading misinformation and called for improved accountability. “Someone needs to explain to these showbiz websites that this video is not mine,” she added, emphasizing the need for stricter regulations on AI usage in media.
