Renowned actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak has voiced her frustration over an unusually high electricity bill she received for her empty house, calling it “unreasonable.”

Taking to Instagram, Khattak shared a screenshot of her electricity bill, which totaled Rs21,625. The actress expressed her disbelief, stating, “I can’t wrap my head around this.” She noted that she lives alone and her house remains vacant except for occasional visits three to four times a month.

“I don’t host guests and the only appliance running is the fridge,” Saheefa explained, questioning the high charge. She added, “Yet, my electricity bill is shockingly high.”

Khattak’s Instagram post continued, “This amount is completely unreasonable. How can an empty house generate such a bill?” She concluded her message with concerns about the broader implications, stating, “It is deeply concerning what is happening in this country.” The post highlights growing issues with utility billing and consumer grievances.
