Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor has teased fans with a major hint about a potential third installment in the “Stree” series.

Kapoor, who starred in the highly successful 2018 film “Stree” alongside Rajkummar Rao, recently sparked excitement with her social media posts suggesting the possibility of “Stree 3.”

The original “Stree” was a massive hit, earning over INR 527.7 crores in India, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan.” The sequel, “Stree 2,” continued the success, featuring Kapoor, Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee, with cameo appearances by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, and Tamannaah Bhatia.

“Stree 2” was a part of Maddock Films’ Supernatural Universe and had a record-breaking opening, competing fiercely at the box office against “Khel Khel Mein” and “Vedaa.”

Kapoor recently shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the set of “Stree 2” on Instagram. In her caption, she playfully wrote “50% Pookie 50% Maaru kya ???” When a fan inquired about her character’s name, Kapoor hinted, “pakka bataungi! Stree 3 mein.”

This response has led fans to believe that the creators planning a third series, continuing the blend of horror and humor that made the previous films so popular. The “Stree” series is known for its unique urban legend about a headless ghost terrorizing the town of Chanderi.
