The highly anticipated Pakistani film “The Legend of Maula Jatt” is finally scheduled to be released in Indian theaters on October 2 of this year.

The makers of the film announced the special news through the official Instagram handle of the film. The caption of the post reads, “The Legend of Maula Jatt’s legacy lives on! Catch the cinematic masterpiece in Indian theatres from 2nd October 2024. Book your tickets now!”

The movie, which stars Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, was first scheduled for release in the neighboring nation in December 2022. Fans were upset when the Indian authorities decided to postpone the release indefinitely.

The legendary, highest-grossing Lollywood film, which was directed by Bilal Lashari, has achieved unprecedented commercial success.

The film earned $3.58 million in Pakistan and $5.37 million abroad in 2022, according to box office figures. The movie becomes the first Pakistani film to earn $8.95 million in box office revenue with this unbelievable total.

The film, which stars Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi, Ali Azmat, Raheela Agha, Babar Ali, Saima Baloch, Shafqat Cheema, Nayyar Ejaz, and Resham, is a reboot of the 1979 cult classic Maula Jatt.
