Renowned producer Yasir Nawaz recently shared a candid and amusing anecdote from his student days during an appearance on a morning show hosted by Madeeha Naqvi. Joined by his siblings, Nawaz recounted a memorable incident involving a run-in with the police while he was dating a girl.

Before diving into the story, Nawaz humorously expressed concern about his wife, Nida Yasir’s reaction, saying, “If Nida hears this story, she will be angry with me.”

Nawaz described a situation from his past when he took his father’s car out for a drive with a girl. “We stopped at a place, and shortly after, the police arrived. I was terrified. My hands and feet were shaking, and I couldn’t even answer properly,” he recalled.

The police, questioning the couple’s presence and actions, nearly took Nawaz to the police station. “But my father saved me,” Nawaz revealed. He explained that he called his father, who intervened by talking to the police and introducing himself, ultimately diffusing the situation. Initially resistant due to concerns about the couple’s behavior in an Islamic country, the police later pardoned them.

Nawaz, the son of legendary actor Farid Nawaz, recounted the incident with a mix of nostalgia and relief.
