Hollywood sensations Andrew Garfield and Kate Tomas have ended their relationship after several months of dating, with Kate confirming the split in an Instagram comment on Saturday.

Turning to her Instagram handle, she stated, “We broke up months ago but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved,” putting an end to speculation from fans.

After being seen holding hands on a double date with Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham in March, the couple sparked relationship rumors. The 41-year-old Andrew has kept his romantic life quiet despite their public appearances.

He clarified that he appreciates discretion in a 2021 interview with Bustle, saying he “intentionally keeps his romantic relationships out of the public eye.”

Prior to dating Kate, Andrew had a romantic relationship with Emma Stone, his co-star in “Spider-Man,” in the 2010s. He also dated Alyssa Miller, a model, until their breakup in April 2022.

Even though Andrew and Kate’s breakup has just recently come to light, it seems like the two of them broke up amicably a few months ago and did not make an official announcement at the time. Andrew has always made the decision to keep his personal matters private, which is reflected in their separation.
