Actor Arjun Kapoor has spoken out about his relationship with television star Malaika Arora. At a Diwali party hosted by politician Raj Thackeray in Mumbai, Arjun, who was there with his team for the upcoming film Singham Again, addressed the crowd.

When fans shouted Malaika’s name, Arjun smiled and said, “Nahi abhi single hoon. Relax karo” (No, I’m single now. Relax). He added, “Inhone ‘tall aur handsome’ bola, aesa lagraha hai ki shaadi ki baat karrahe hai. Isliye maine bola relax karo pehle” (He said, ‘tall and handsome,’ and I felt he was talking about marriage. So I said relax).

Earlier this year, a source revealed to Pinkvilla, “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter.”

Malaika and Arjun began dating in 2018 but kept their relationship private while sharing loving moments on social media. After the recent passing of Malaika’s father, Anil Mehta, Arjun supported her during this difficult time. Malaika was previously married to actor Arbaaz Khan, and they co-parent their son, Arhaan, after their divorce in 2017.
