Jolly LLB featuring Arshad Warsi won fans over with its humor, engaging plot, and strong performances. The sequel, Jolly LLB 2, featured Akshay Kumar as the lead.

Recently, Arshad shared that he wasn’t a fan of the script for the sequel and recognized that Akshay would attract a larger audience, so he was fine stepping aside. He mentioned that a version of Jolly LLB with both of them would be funny and exciting, including a fight scene between the actors.

In an interview with Mashable India, Arshad was asked if he felt bad about not being in Jolly LLB 2. He replied, “I wasn’t all happy with the script, but I would have done it because it was Subhash, and he is the director and dear friend.” However, the producer wanted Akshay for the role, and Arshad texted the director to suggest that Akshay could draw a bigger crowd. He stated, “With me, you would get a crowd of 500 people. With him, you will get a crowd of 5000 people.”

Now, Arshad and Akshay are reuniting for Jolly LLB 3. Arshad explained that audiences will enjoy seeing them together again, as he will continue his character from the first film while Akshay reprises his role from the sequel.

He praised Akshay’s work ethic, noting they filmed a complex fight scene in just one take. Arshad said, “What we’ve done is insane… It’s a long fight sequence, which probably would take somebody a day to finish.” He expressed excitement for the film, believing it has all the elements fans expect from the Jolly LLB franchise. The film finished shooting in July 2024 and is set to release in April 2025.
