On October 23, she took to social media to share her health update, saying, “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE Music Fest.”

Cardi expressed her disappointment about missing the event and thanked her fans, the “Bardi Gang,” for their support, stating, “thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love yall.” The festival organizers also confirmed her absence, urging fans to keep Cardi in their prayers as they seek a replacement.
