Actor Divya Khosla has ignited a controversy on social media by criticizing Alia Bhatt’s latest film, Jigra, and clashing publicly with co-producer Karan Johar.

In response to her allegations, Johar posted, “Silence is the best speech you will ever give to fools,” to which Khosla fired back, stating, “Truth will always offend fools opposed to it.”

In an interview with Hindustan Times. Khosla expressed her frustration about being dismissed for raising concerns about “unethical practices” in the industry. She remarked, “Today, when I speak up, Mr. Karan Johar uses derogatory language to shut me down. Is it right to call a woman a fool for pointing out unethical practices?” She emphasized that such treatment could deter newcomers in the industry.

Her initial critique targeted Alia Bhatt, claiming she benefited from “fake ticket bookings.” Khosla stated, “Alia doesn’t need to resort to such tactics; she’s already well-established. But true heroism is in speaking against wrongdoing.” She also voiced concerns over inflated box office figures, highlighting the struggles of smaller production houses post-COVID.

Additionally, Khosla accused Jigra of being a copy of her film, Savi, a jailbreak story. She noted, “Both films share the same storyline,” but insisted that her project was in production first.
