Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi hurt his neck in Hyderabad while filming an action scene for his next Telugu movie, Goodachari 2.

The incident happened on Monday night while Hashmi was busy filming his South Indian debut, according Indian media reports.

Hashmi sustained a deep cut on his neck, according to information from his business partner Sunny Khanna, but he is anticipated to return to Mumbai on Tuesday. Hashmi has not yet made an official announcement about the injury.

The much-awaited follow-up to Adivi Sesh’s popular spy action movie Goodachari, which starred Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and Sobhita Dhulipala, is titled Goodachari 2.

In the sequel, directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, Adivi Sesh will reprise his role as Agent Gopi, alongside Hashmi. Madhu Shalini, Banita Sandhu, and Prakash Raj will all play significant roles in the movie.

In March 2025, Goodachari 2 is scheduled to release in theaters. Apart from this project, Hashmi, who was recently seen in the web series Showtime on Disney + Hotstar, is also working on a gangster thriller called They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan.
