Filmmaker Karan Johar has reacted to Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s unique rendition of the hit song “Tauba Tauba.”

Chahat performed the song in an Instagram video where the lyrics were changed from “Tauba Tauba” to “Toba Toba,” with the famous Taj Mahal providing a beautiful backdrop. Chahat’s unusual performance with a guitar in hand ignited widespread reactions from netizens.

Karan Aujla, the original artist of “Tauba Tauba,” humorously commented on Chahat’s version, saying, “Uncle na kro (don’t do) please” alongside a crying emoji. This sentiment was echoed by many viewers, with one remarking, “Humans can sing in tune even by mistake, but here he hasn’t done that either.” Another user chimed in, “Everything was funny until Karan Aujla commented,” while someone else stated, “Toba Toba, you’ve ruined my mood,” reflecting the mixed feelings about the cover.
