Pakistani writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is determined to seek justice in the honey-trapping case, demanding accountability for the suspects involved and vowing to confront those who mocked him online.

Speaking to reporters outside the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore, Qamar stated, “It is necessary for these individuals to face consequences. Respect is granted by God, and I will not rest until the accused are punished.”

Qamar expressed his frustration toward online trolls, asserting, “Everyone who attempted to defame me will face consequences. Instead of sympathising with my ordeal, where I was forced to recite the Kalma three times and shots were fired, people disgrace others for a few coins.” He emphasized his admiration for respectful women, saying, “Women who are respectful and dignified are leading my society. They are my pride.”

The ATC, led by Judge Arshad Javed, denied bail to Yasir Ali, one of the accused in the case, citing substantial evidence against him. Ali reportedly attempted to extort money from Qamar and was identified during an identification parade. Following the incident, Qamar filed a complaint that resulted in the arrest of Amina Arooj and other suspects linked to the alleged abduction.
