The fans of Olivia Rodrigo were taken by surprise when their beloved singer fell into a hole on stage during her performance in Melbourne, Australia, on October 13.

The incident occurred while she was energetically engaged in her Guts World Tour at the Rod Laver Arena. As Rodrigo ran around to energize the crowd of 14,000, she suddenly disappeared into a small opening left uncovered from her earlier entrance, causing panic among the audience.

Video footage captured the crowd’s gasps transforming into screams as she fell. Fortunately, Rodrigo managed to grab the edge of the opening and pull herself out. Quickly regaining her composure, she reassured her fans by saying, “Oh my God! That was fun, I’m OK! Sometimes there is just a hole in the stage, OK… where was I?” The audience erupted in cheers as she continued her performance.

The clip of her fall circulated widely online, eliciting mixed reactions. Some fans expressed concern, with one user writing on X, “Somebody check on her pls I hope she didn’t hurt herself,” while another asked, “IS SHE OKAY????” Others found humor in the situation, with comments like, “I giggled so hard it called a laugh,” and “I have already seen this video from like 5 different angles and it gets funnier every time.”
