Dimple Kapadia rose to fame with her debut film Bobby and made a remarkable return to the big screen after a decade, enchanting audiences once again with her talent and charm.

After a successful career in the Indian film industry, during which she garnered numerous accolades including a National Film Award, she featured in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet.

In a recent interview, Kapadia shared a memorable interaction with Nolan, who asked her to leave her earrings behind after filming. She recalled, “Oh, they’re lovely. You can leave them behind after your shoot.”

While discussing her experience, she praised costume designer Jeffrey Kurland for his patience, saying, “He took all my nonsense and bullsh*t. He struggled with me, poor guy. But what a look he created. It was absolutely beautiful!”

Tenet is a science fiction action thriller that also stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki. Kapadia portrays Priya Singh, an Indian arms trafficker.

Reflecting on her role in Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hai, she revealed that her friend Akshaye Khanna encouraged her to take part in the film, saying, “Akshaye Khanna called me up. He was such a sweetheart. He said, ‘Please, please, do it for me.’ And yeah, I said, ‘Of course.’”

Earlier this year, she also appeared in Murder Mubarak and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
