Former actress Zarnish Khan has shared that her pilgrimage to Umrah profoundly changed her life and led her to leave the entertainment industry.

In a recent interview, she described how seeing the Holy Kaaba filled her with emotions, making her feel unworthy to stand before “the House of Allah.”

Zarnish said, “I was very confused about how to face Allah,” and after returning home, she listened to the story of Miraj as she fell asleep. In her dream, she saw the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and shared, “I had a long conversation with him.” He advised her to seek forgiveness from God at the Holy Kaaba, reminding her that “Allah forgives everyone.”

Upon waking, Zarnish felt overwhelmed and wept for hours, saying, “I couldn’t believe that a sinful person like me had been granted a vision of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In that moment, I wanted to leave everything behind.” She reflected on her social media presence, feeling embarrassed about her good deeds.

Choosing to leave showbiz, she stated, “if I hadn’t made a firm decision at once, the temptations and glamour of showbiz would have made it difficult for me to stick to my resolution.” After her journey, she adopted the hijab as the first step in her new life.
