Rumors of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s alleged divorce have been circulating, fueled recently by reports of an affair between Abhishek and his Dasvi co-star, Nimrat Kaur. Amid these speculations, an old letter from Amitabh Bachchan to Nimrat has resurfaced, garnering attention on social media.

The letter, written by the legendary actor in 2022, praised Nimrat Kaur for her performance in the film Dasvi. Amitabh Bachchan had sent the letter along with a bouquet of flowers, acknowledging her exceptional work. In the note, he wrote, “We have hardly had any interactions or meetings. The last was a compliment I gave at an event at YRF—for the Cadbury ad. But your work in ‘Dasvi’ is exceptional—nuances, gestures, all! My deep admiration and congratulations. Love, Amitabh Bachchan.”

Nimrat Kaur shared her gratitude in an Instagram post, recalling her journey from moving to Mumbai 18 years ago to receiving recognition from the legendary actor. She wrote, “To imagine that Mr. Amitabh Bachchan would know me by my name… send a note and flowers for something I attempted in a film—all would’ve been but a distant dream.”

In Hindi, she added, “Aaj Alfaz aur bhavnaye, dono kam pad rahi hai,” expressing her deep respect and gratitude for Amitabh’s praise.

Dasvi, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur, and Yami Gautam, was released on OTT in 2022.
