Billie Eilish made an impassioned plea to her fans during a stop on her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour in Atlanta on Saturday.

The Grammy-winning singer paused her concert at the State Farm Arena to speak about the 2024 US presidential election. Addressing the crowd, Billie urged her fans to support Vice President Kamala Harris, telling them, “Times are really scary and a lot is at stake, and I know that if you’re in this room and you support me, you support women. I hope that you will vote for Kamala Harris.”

The moment was shared on TikTok by the Democratic Party’s official account, and Billie also posted it to her Instagram with the caption, “don’t let anyone tell you your voice and your vote don’t matter!! VOTE FOR KAMALA HARRIS” followed by blue heart emojis.

Billie and her brother Finneas publicly endorsed Harris and Tim Walz in September, explaining their reasons for backing the Democratic candidates. Billie said, “We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy.”

Finneas added, “We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms, and our future. The only way to stop them is to vote and elect Kamala Harris.” Billie concluded, “Vote like your life depends on it, because it does.”
