Bohemia meets Pakistani folk artist Attaullah Esakhelvi in London
Punjabi rapper and music producer Bohemia recently met legendary Pakistani folk artist Attaullah Esakhelvi at an emotional gathering in London. Known for his deep respect for music icons, Bohemia was seen sitting at Esakhelvi’s feet during the meeting as a gesture of reverence.
Attaullah Esakhelvi, celebrated globally for his contributions to folk music, boasts a career spanning over four decades with more than 45,000 songs recorded in seven languages. He was awarded the Pride of Performance in 1991 and holds a Guinness World Record for the highest number of audio albums released.
The meeting garnered attention on social media when Indian singer Guru Randhawa commented on the post, calling them “my favourite superstars.”
Esakhelvi replied with warm wishes for Randhawa, showcasing a spirit of cross-border unity. Fans joined in, leaving lighthearted remarks in the comments section.
Bohemia’s UK trip also featured a virtual meet-up with Pakistani artist Chahat Fateh Ali Khan. During the call, Chahat performed his viral track Badoo Badi, delighting Bohemia. The rapper humorously teased a potential collaboration, saying it would be titled Bohemia Boom. Chahat further entertained Bohemia by reciting a poem, adding a creative touch to their interaction.
