Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have frequently faced social media scrutiny, with Ranbir labeled as “misogynistic” and “unsupportive.” Addressing the criticism, his sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has come to the couple’s defense, emphasizing their strong bond and disregard for public negativity.

In an interview with Zoom, Riddhima highlighted the couple’s happiness and parenting journey. “They adore each other. They’ve created the most beautiful ever child, Raha. She is so, so adorable. They are amazing parents. So, I don’t think they really care about what people say,” she shared.

The criticism earlier recently after a video of Alia Bhatt discussing how Ranbir allegedly asked her to wipe off her lipstick went viral, leading to accusations of toxicity.

Riddhima, 44, dismissed the negativity, stating, “No matter what, people will always have things to say. That is why they are ‘called trolls.’” She emphasized that Ranbir and Alia’s happiness together is what truly matters.

Responding to her own criticisms as a “nepo product” and accusations of being a bully, Riddhima remarked, “I’m nothing like that. I’m a very simple girl… People are bound to say something. Why let negativity get to you? Focus on all the positives.”

The Kapoor family remains focused on cherishing their private joys amidst public scrutiny.
