Robert Vito, known for his role in the 2003 movie “Spy Kids 3D: Game Over”, was arrested Friday night on a felony domestic violence charge.

Sources report that law enforcement responded to a call about a domestic violence incident at Vito’s Los Angeles home. Police arrived at the scene after an altercation reportedly escalated between Vito and his girlfriend.

Sources close to the situation revealed that the incident began with a verbal argument between Vito and his girlfriend. However, the situation escalated when Vito allegedly pushed her into some furniture.

Officers received reports that Vito allegedly threw his young son onto a couch, knocking him down. Law enforcement officials quickly arrived to assess the situation and check on both parties involved.

Officers reportedly found the couple’s young son unharmed, but they observed visible marks on the girlfriend’s body. These injuries prompted them to file a felony charge.

Law enforcement arrested Vito for felony domestic violence after determining they had sufficient evidence to proceed with the charge. Authorities continued their investigation to ensure the safety of both the girlfriend and the child.

Vito was taken into custody around 8 PM PT on Friday and booked shortly before 9:30 PM PT. After processing, he was released early Saturday morning on a $50,000 bond.

Vito has not made any public statement regarding the incident, and efforts to reach him or his representatives for comment have been unsuccessful.

Best known for his role as Rez, a competitor in a video game, in “Spy Kids 3D: Game Over”, Vito also appeared in several popular television shows and films throughout the early 2000s.

His credits include appearances on “The Bernie Mac Show”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, and “Port Charles”, among others. Vito also took on roles in various TV shows and movies, making him a familiar face to many fans of that era.
