Jennifer Lopez may soon find herself involved in a legal case against her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs.

While the actress and singer has remained silent about recent allegations involving Diddy, new legal developments suggest her name could surface in court proceedings.

According to InTouch Weekly, Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, a Michigan inmate suing Diddy over an alleged sexual assault in 1997, plans to call Lopez as a witness. Recent court documents reportedly refer to her as “Jennifer Lynn Lopez aka Jenny from the Block,” indicating her potential involvement.

Lopez and Diddy were in a high-profile relationship from 1999 to 2001, leading Cardello-Smith to believe that she might have information relevant to his claims. The inmate is representing himself in the case and has expressed intentions to have Lopez testify in support of his allegations.

Meanwhile, Lopez has been navigating personal challenges, including her recent divorce from husband Ben Affleck. While the split has been difficult, it has provided a brief reprieve from the media storm surrounding Diddy.

Lopez has yet to comment on the legal case or the possibility of being called as a witness, leaving questions about her potential role in the ongoing proceedings.
