Shah Rukh Khan recently praised “Swades” as one of his most special movies, highlighting its significance among his highly acclaimed performances. He also congratulated filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker on the 20th anniversary of his production company.

On December 9, 2024, Ashutosh Gowariker celebrated this milestone by sharing a post on X (formerly Twitter) to mark 20 years of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.

Resharing the tweet, Shah Rukh Khan extended his warm wishes, saying, “Congratulations @AshGowariker!! Your vision and talent has given us many films to cherish. Twenty years is a big milestone and here’s to many many more years of fantastic films!!”

Recalling their collaboration on Swades, the actor added, “Swades will always be one of my most special films…”

Ashutosh Gowariker directed the drama film “Swades”, where Shah Rukh Khan portrayed Mohan Bhargav, an NRI scientist who returns to India to reconnect with his roots. Released in 2004, the movie remains one of SRK’s most iconic performances.

Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing to begin shooting for his next film, “King”. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the action thriller features an ensemble cast, including Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Abhay Verma.
