On Wednesday, December 11, Gomez shared several cute snaps showcasing her engagement ring on Instagram. Swift expressed her excitement in the comments, writing, “Yes, I will be the flower girl.”

The post featured a close-up picture of the ring, a shot of the “Only Murders in the Building” actress sitting on a mat with a picnic setup in the middle of a garden—likely the spot where Blanco proposed—and a joyful close-up of Gomez wearing the ring.

The post also included a photo of Blanco embracing her from behind as she showed off her hand. “Forever begins now…” Gomez captioned the post. Blanco commented, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”

The excitement of the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker is understandable, given her decades-long friendship with Gomez. Their bond reportedly began in 2008 when Gomez started dating Nick Jonas, and Swift began seeing his brother, Joe Jonas.
