Kartik Aaryan opened up about the ongoing insider vs outsider debate in Bollywood, a topic that has sparked much discussion in the film industry. The actors from film families have an easier time securing roles compared to those who come from outside the industry and Kartik too admitted to losing some opportunities to star kids in Bollywood.

Kartik revealed that he, too, has felt the impact of this trend. “Meri bhi opportunities kayi baar aise gayi hai jahan pe mujhe aisa laga ki maybe I should have gotten the opportunity rather than someone who is from the family or whatever,” he shared, acknowledging the challenges he has faced.

However, Kartik also expressed that he has come to terms with the situation. “It’s not their fault. I have made my peace with it. If I had been born in that family, the same would have happened to me too,” he added, displaying a mature perspective on the issue.

Kartik had a successful 2024, with both critical acclaim and commercial success. He was praised for his role in Chandu Champion, despite the film’s box-office performance. His next release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, became a massive hit, earning close to ₹400 crore. Though his much-anticipated film Aashiqui 3 has been delayed, Kartik’s career continues to thrive.
